VERY RARE MARSHALL 5518 BASS ACTIVE BOX, VINTAGE RETRO 80’S AMP, VGCRealistic Starting Price!! – NO RESERVE!

Rare Marshall Model 5518 Bass Combo, Solid State 100 Watt Power Amplifier with 2×8″ Celestial G8-50 speakers  – Part of the Integrated Bass System (IBS) Very Good Condition!

There is not a lot of information on this model that I can find apart from: ‘Active Mid-range Box, was in production from 1986 to 1988. Active version of the 1518 cabinet. It is fitted with two Celestial G8-50 speakers’. According to a listing that was on ebay for a stack system that included this unit, there were only 6 of these ever made!

In good condition, and has not been gigged when I bought this, and I haven’t used it either.

Turns on and sounds clean with a Bas through it, obviously designed as a power module as there are no tone or volume controls, so meant to be used with another Amp or Pre-Amp.

The last pic shows the unit in the IBS system – only the Active Box is up for auction.I simply have too many amps to function! better that this goes to a more deserving home!  Realistic Start Price, NO RESERVE!!No Warranty, No Refunds, No Returns! It will be VERY WELL packed for fully insured transit
