You are looking at a high quality Electro Voice RE-15 super cardioid dynamic microphone made in 1980’s. Made in Buchanan, Michigan. It comes with the E.V mic clip shown. Pic # 2 is from an E.V Catalog I have showing the mics basic characteristics. This microphone has been thoroughly cleaned and tested. The mic is set at 150 OHMS which is low impedance and was excellent for broadcasting and singing. This mic however should be used for prop and display purposes only as it has a compromised element and the signal strength is very weak. This is being sold to a gentleman named Richard. If you are not him please do not buy this mic. The RE-15 has an all metal body and quite rugged in it’s construction. It has the original mint green paint scheme as well with typical wear on the painted handle in the form of scuffs and scratches. It also has a small portion of the lower handle broken off where the cable attaches to the mic. The front screen however looks very nice and free of any dents or tarnish. The E.V label is completely legible. The mic still has it’s original inner foam screens which really helps with sound characteristics and cuts down on “pops” from wind and breathing. The RE-15 does come with the E.V mic clip as well that is also in excellent condition and works great for this microphone giving the user a wide degree of tilt up and down as needed. The mic clip will screw onto any desk or floor stand. MICROPHONE STAND SHOWN IS NOT PART OF THIS SALE…FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY.
