Vintage AKG C451E Condenser Microphone with original Style CK2 Omni Capsule
I am thinning down my microphone collection so will be listing a few nice mics over the next few weeks.
This listing is for, what I believe is a C451E (serial #2752) although the logo and model number have rubbed off the body.
It is fitted with an original early style CK2 omnidirectional capsule (possibly serial #3387 but difficult to read)
The mic is in very good condition, with only minor marks and scuffs. The threads are good and the capsule screws on and off very smoothly.
It is tested, working as it should and sounds nice.
As this is a delicate and vintage microphone I would suggest you come and view & hear this before purchase to ensure you will not be disappointed. I would much rather hand it over in person to someone who has heard it working and is happy.
