Here are a matching Pair of Vintage “Carlsbro Sound” 2×12 Speaker Cabs.
Serial No’s 10403 and 10404
They are loaded with 4 matching Celestion G 12 S Speakers which are all
marked with the code CF28X which dates them at 28th March 1973.
The speakers are rated at 20 Watts and 16 Ohms each, but the Cabs are wired
and rated at 40watts and 8 Ohms.
They are in a good condition in spite of their 46 years, but do show the
usual signs of wear and tear through usage.
There are the usual knocks, grazes and tears on the corners to the Tolex
covering, but the front speaker mesh and the speakers themselves are all
superb with no issues at all.
These have been in the family since 1983 and have mainly been used for
singing through along with a backing tape, but also for some guitar work in
conjunction with a “Sound City 50 Plus” amp head. The combination of the
two gave a really great sound with plenty of punch if you needed it.
There are also some covers with cabs if you want them too, but these really
have seen better days.
Due to the size and weight of these, i’m not shipping them. I don’t trust the
carriers any more as a friend of mine, just had his Marshall 4 x 12 ruined
in spite of it being properly packaged up etc before being shipped.

These would be a great period piece of equipment for use with a 70’s style
tribute band or similar.
These are “Cash on Collection” only…… If you want to come over and try
them out, (bring some leads etc with you) or have any other questions etc
then please ask and i’ll help where i can.
Low start price on these great cabs, i think the speakers are worth this alone.
