Vintage Fostex 8700 Time Code Generator (Battery Powered)
Described as ‘convenient battery driven time code generator’ – generates:
SMPTE 30 FPS
SMPTE Drop Frame 29.97 FPS
EBU 25 FPS
FILM 24 FPS
Bought in early 1990s and never used – I used an Opcode SMPTE unit for striping tapes so this has sat in a drawer since I bought it.
Comes in original box with instructions.
This is battery powered (does not come with battery) and power supply is optional. Does NOT come with power supply (+9V~ +15VDC specified).
It has my old house number and postcode marked in ‘ultraviolet’ ink on the base.
