Gorgeous vintage Tannoy ribbon microphone.
Yes the body has a few dints conducive with age – but its a lovely vintage ribbon mic – & closed back so excellent for rear rejection of noise.
Tonally – we use these mics all the time in the studio (this is our 2nd spare) on lots of audio sources from vocals, to guitar (acoustic & electric) to ambient percussion etc – cause they just sound like gold. Close mic your sound source all you like – but stick one of these Tannoys 6-8 feet away – especially from tuned percussion – & prepare to be delighted.
Hes a beaut folks – & very hard to find in good working order like this one.
