WANTED Damaged Altec Lansing 421a. JBL, Celestion, RCF, Fender, Gibson.
Looking for Broken and damaged Altec Lansing Aluminium basket models of the 70s.
Iv recently purchased a 421a driver from an old folk musician gent in Denmark who is selling off a lot of his old gear and such. The older gentleman tried to pack it as best as he could but it arrived tossed and turned and the box was completely mangled and the chassis has taken an impact thats bent the frame completely out of whack.Id rather just let the old gentleman think it arrived in one piece and not upset him as he has had it a very long time.

If anybody out there has a Model 421a Altec Lansing thats got anything wrong with it like a cracked magnet, busted magnet housing, completely wrecked paper cone or the coil is burnt out – as long as the aluminium frame basket is in sound condition Id like to purchase it for parts!
I dont want to let any more good old 70s drivers bite the dust when there are so few! I know its a long shot but please message if you can help! 😀
