Dream EQ Classic Vintage Edition 1 Q-Clone Equalizer Library for Waves Q-Clone Plugin offers 2,576 EQ presets for high-quality editing of audio signals in the mixing and mastering process.
The user has access to all the filters available on the original hardware. The frequencies of each filter were processed in many small pitches (mostly + -1db) by a high-end AD conversion for use with Q-clones. The entire library is easily integrated directly into the preset menu of Q-Clone.
Xtreme Samples’ Q-Clone Libraries are far superior to a native EQ plug-in in terms of authenticity relative to the hardware template. Compared to DSP platforms (UAD, TC etc.), for example, the results of editing are more transparent and natural. As with a convolution reverb, the convolution properties of the underlying original hardware are more accurately mapped than in an algorithmic DSP calculation.
Xtreme Samples Q-Clone Presets
A Q-Clone preset represents a specific filter position of the hardware. This filter position was transferred to a software environment using Convolution technology and saved. There is a distinction between two Q-Clone preset types: Single Preset and Application Preset . A single preset simulates a position of a single EQ filter (eg High Shelving Filter), while other EQ filters are inactive. The positions of two or more EQ filters were stored in an application preset.
The single presets are suitable for easy editing of audio signals such as treble / mid / bass boost / cut, low or high cut filter. For the “Add” function of the Q-Clone plug-in with which another single preset can be added to an already loaded preset, however, the single presets offer a broad basis for creating your own EQ presets.
The application presets are more complex EQ settings, divided into two groups: Mixing and Mastering . For mixing, various instrument-sorted application presets for bass, drums, guitars, vocals etc. are available. The mastering group includes application presets, sorted by music genre like Pop, Rock, Dance etc.
