Yamaha DX-27 61 keys synthesizer

The DX27 is a full sized keyboard version of the DX100. Like all DX’s it uses (FM) Frequency Modulation synthesis. It’s not the easiest form of synthesis to program but can result in some excellent sounds. The DX27 is not as flexible nor powerful as a DX7, but it does have some cool sounds.

* Includes non-original 10V power supply * – although it accepts 12V, it works fine with it.

All playing keys are working fine.

I’ve bought this as I’m getting into synthesisers but then I realised it is too big for me. I need a smaller one.
Please feel free to make any questions. I’m not a professional player but will do my best to answer all of them as quick as possible.

Some minor issues I’ve identified (common for a keyboard of its age):
– The volume slider is a bit scratchy especially at the top area. Only when you move it. No problems if you don’t change it while playing.
– Button #21 sometimes needs a slightly stronger press – probably just need cleaning
– The ‘output’ audio port might need some tightening, it loses contact some times (it might be my lead), but the ‘phone’ audio output can be used instead and it works great.

– There’s something like a hair (cat hair maybe?) just under the glass, on top of the LCD screen. I thought it was a crack but I’m 99% sure it’s a hair, so it can probably be removed. I took a close-up picture of it.

The type of those problems above are all minor issues that are normally very easy to fix. That’s why I’m putting the low start price to reflect it so you can get a bargain.

I prefer cash on collection from Hackney E8 in London (near Dalston Junction overground station) where you can test the item.

I can dispatch but will need to charge also for for packaging and handling. In case you live in London I can possibly deliver it myself for a smaller fee but please contact me first to arrange.

Item sold As Described.

Thanks for your interest.
