YAMAHA FB-01 SYNTHESIZER MODULEFantastic little module full of 4op FM sounds, common to the FB01, DX100 and DX21 synths. I know the interface is important and some folks prefer keys, but quite why people are spending over 300 on a DX100 when you can get exactly the same sounds and more on an FB01 is a mystery to me! And it’s a desktop module that takes up hardly any space!!!Some age related wear around the casing but face is nice and clean, displays bright and clear (love the orange!), and all works as it should (I just opened it up to blow any dust out and clean the button contacts, so probably better than most!). Sorry to see it go but I also have a DX21 which was one of my first synths, and I’m trying to majorly downsize anything that duplicates other stuff. I know the DX7 is more powerful but I really love these late 1980’s 4op synths, full of essential sounds like ‘Solid Bass’ but lots of other useable stuff too, much used on vintage Sega console games and now very much in demand. UK/EU voltage with UK plug fitted, plus bound copy of the UK user manual plus a print out of the full patch list.
